ReportThe wreck is located east of Fårö Missloper. Fårö Missloper, a well-known reef, is situated in the southern channel of Fårösund, specifically to the southeast of Fårösund. The nearest harbor with a slipway is Fårösund. Vulcan was a steam schooner that transported rye between Kronstadt and Bremen under the command of W. Work. On June 28, 1873, she struck Fårö Missloper in thick fog and sank within just a few hours. Today, not much remains of the wreck. It primarily consists of a large pile of timber with a steam boiler standing upright in the center.
