The M/S Geta collided with the Dutch vessel M/S Graneborg, resulting in a significant hole in her hull, which caused her to take on water. She sank to the bottom OSO of Utklippan on September 29, 2000. At the time, she was en route from Karlshamn to Gdansk carrying macadam. The ship settled upright at a depth of 18 meters, but after a storm in 2005, she capsized and now rests upside down. All cabins, masts, and superstructures were crushed and are now scattered around the wreck. On the starboard side, there is a crack that allows for potential entry.
