The sinking took place in 1908. The wreck site is straightforward to locate, but navigating the area can be difficult due to the many shallows surrounding the wreck site. The wreck is situated upright on a fine sandy seabed at a depth of roughly 5-7 meters, with the bow positioned in the deeper area. The steam boiler and engine are found in the center of the wreck, extending upwards to about 3 meters deep. The propeller shaft and propeller (with one of the three blades missing) remain intact, while the rudder is located directly behind the wreck. At the bow, a portion of the bridge is visible, with what appears to be a “lamp holder” or a similar fixture still attached to the bridge’s floor.

Both sides of the ship have “laid” flat, and if some sand is brushed away, the wooden sides, which are mostly intact south of the steam boiler, can be seen. Furthermore, there is an anchor winch or some type of “trossspel” still present at the bow. One or two masts are found lying on the forecastle.
