The red dot located east of Getskär, approximately 50 meters directly north of the dot. The aircraft should be lined up from the dot. The aircraft measures about 10 meters in length and is positioned upside down. Of the components above the sand, the aluminum has been removed, leaving only the steel skeleton.

The Arado 196, a small fighter aircraft from Germany, was sold to Norway and subsequently transferred to Sweden. After a flight over Blekinge in 1946, it crashed just outside Karlskrona.

The Arado 196 was a German shipboard reconnaissance floatplane utilized by the Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine during World War II. It was highly esteemed for its robust design and maneuverability, serving as the standard catapult-launched aircraft on significant warships such as the Bismarck and Admiral Hipper.

The dive is approximately 13 meters deep.
