On one side of Själsö Harbor is shelter from the weather, while on the other is the roaring Baltic Sea. The beach is shallow and accessible by foot between the smaller jetties. limestone and clay formations on a white sand floor. Rock outcroppings and bladderwrack woods. Seaweed of many kinds and eelgrass meadows. Look for shrimp and flounder. Rocks covered in red algae give life color. The area is vast once you leave the harbor, and it’s a shallow diving spot. Excellent wintertime visibility!
