On the way from Trosa to Arkösund (coming from Stockholm), we ran aground on rocks north of the island Arkö (position as above) around 3:00 PM with our yacht during a thunderstorm. The cause was unclear buoy guidance and lack of marking of the shallow/rock.
After a distress call, a SAR boat from the Arkösund station came and towed us free after a 3-hour question-and-answer discussion.
The boat likely only has scratches on the 1.65 m deep keel.
Side note: The men from the SAR boat originally wanted 8000 SK for the towing service. The business acumen of the SAR men remains an unpleasant memory for us.
According to the men from the Arkösund SAR boat, boats regularly run aground at the aforementioned position!!!
The incident was recorded by the SAR boat.
