ReportThe slopes descend like a staircase and extend to a depth of 18-20 meters, while the plateau at 10 meters takes approximately 2-3 minutes to swim across. Enter at one of the small coves located on the point.
By car:
Take Road 148 north from Visby towards Fårösund. Just before reaching Fårösund, at Bunge Church, turn left towards Ar and the “Research Station.” Continue past the research station (with Bästeträsk on your left) and then turn right onto the gravel road, proceeding down towards the right and the beach.
Driving on the beach ridges is prohibited. You may park your vehicle a maximum of 1 meter off the side of the road. Signs are posted indicating where you are allowed to drive and park.
