ReportTo reach the edge of the reef, it is approximately 30 meters, and from there, it descends almost directly to a depth of 4 meters. For experienced divers, this may not be an exciting dive, but it is shallow and straightforward for beginners. Swimming along the reef edge is quite impressive, often teeming with fish.
In the presence of southern or southwest winds, there can be considerable waves that may prove challenging. Additionally, the onshore wind can stir up the bottom, resulting in poor visibility.
Directions:
Drive from Visby towards Klintehamn. Pass through Klintehamn and continue on the road towards Fröjel. Turn right at the sign for “Djupvik” and follow the road to Djupvik, driving past this harbor for about 1 kilometer. Just before a summer cottage with a very high and steep roof, turn off the road and park beneath a few pines that are located there.
