Herrvik Kuppen

From land: You can enter with a large step or by sliding down the cliff edge. The platform (cliff edge) drops steeply to about 3-4 m and from there straight out it goes down to 11 -12 m and a white sandy bottom. There is good wildlife and a lot of flounder or turbot. Very nice nature.

If it is windy it can be difficult to get in and out because the waves hit the rocks. Then there can be fairly strong currents outside the platform edge, usually along the platform.

Find it: Drive road 143 from Visby towards Roma, continue towards Östergarn and Herrvik. Drive through Herrvik and drive as far as you can and look out for a sign (Kuppen) and then turn onto a small road to the right. Follow this road which is a gravel road and turn left at a sign that says “sevärdhet”.
