From land: Swim straight out and continue to the right, around the cliff. Nice fossils in the outcrop and often plenty of flatfish.

Note how the waves break at the edge of the platform. It can sometimes be difficult to get up if there is too much surf.

Gotland’s highest rauk – Jungfrun – is located to the left of the Lickershamn fishing camp.

There is a small kiosk/cafe in Lickershamn during the summer, where you can also buy smoked fish during the summer.

How to get here: Road 149 north from Visby towards Kappelshamn. After just under 30 km, take the exit towards Lickershamn. Just before the harbour and the fishing huts, the gravel road continues to the right. Follow it (even though it almost ceases to be a road) along the beach until it ends at the foot of a cliff edge. Park there.
