From land, go straight out towards the Stone and go down at the first platform (edge), then just choose what you want to see, underwater “raukar” to the left and passages to the right. To see the raukar swim straight out to 9 meters and turn 90 degrees, swim for about 2 minutes and you should be there. About 50 meters to the right of the stone are wonderful passages and pots at a depth of about 5 meters. Lots of fossils in the stone slabs and a chance to see plenty of flatfish.

Hallshuk is very beautiful. A coffee up on the “huken” by the lighthouse, with a wonderful view, can be recommended! Take it easy in nature and take all your trash home!

A “sightseeing” is Gotland’s northernmost outdoor toilet, it is located in the fishing village so there is no need to “dirty” the nature.

To get here by car: North on road 149 from Visby (signposted Kappelshamn). After about 3.5 kilometers – exit road left: Hall. Drive past Halls church towards Hallshuk. Once you arrive at Hallshuk fishing camp (marked by a small square chapel on the right, the sea straight ahead and a collection of mailboxes on the right), turn right at the intersection and up the winding road up the cliff. Drive the gravel road straight ahead. After a short distance it becomes downhill and the forest thickens. When the road starts to level out, look for an exit/forest road/path on the left side down to the beach. It is easy to miss, so take it easy. Turn down to the beach or park in the small “pocket” next to the road. In total it is about 45 km from Visby.

Carry your equipment down to the beach below the dike. Aim for the “stone” in the water. It is an excellent landmark for entering/exiting.
