To the far right of the point, there is a crevice (skreva) that begins inland, widening and deepening as it extends outward. After approximately 5 meters, it reaches a depth of about 11 meters, allowing for swimming to the left, where one can then hang over a drop-off that descends from 14 to 30 meters. Visibility is often excellent beneath the thermocline, with experiences of over 50 meters, making this dive site highly recommended.

Warning:

It is extremely dangerous and challenging to enter and exit during large waves, and strong currents may occur in windy conditions. Please consult Visby Diving Center for information or guided tours. Remember that this area is a nature reserve, so no off-road driving or littering is permitted. A knife is essential, as there may be numerous fishing lines in the water.

Directions:

Drive from Visby towards Fårö. Continue straight after the ferry across Fårösund. Turn left towards “Lauter”. Follow this road until you reach Digerhuvud (Rauk area) on your left side. Proceed until you pass a “fence” (a barrier for sheep). The third parking area on the left (approximately the fifth toll) is where you should stop. This is the northernmost parking area at Digerhuvud. There is also a small toilet facility there. Walk straight down towards the sea, and at the point below, you will find the “crevice” with a vertical drop from 0 to 40 meters.

During the summer, there may be a long queue for the ferry to Fårö.
