At Östanön, one should swim approximately 10 meters straight out from a stone jetty located on its western side. The water is relatively shallow at first, but it quickly deepens. This is where the wreck lies. What remains today consists of the ribs, which once supported the planking. The wreck measures about 30 meters in length and 5-6 meters in width. Near the center of the wreck, it appears almost as if it is broken or divided, as some ribs are missing. Surrounding the wreck, there is quite a bit of stone. While it may not offer the best diving experience, it can be quite enjoyable and exciting for beginners. The diving depth ranges from 2 to 7 meters.

History:
Jarramas (a sailing vessel built in 1821) was a cargo ship that was used for transporting goods. It sank in either 1900 or 1910, and at the time, it was only loaded with stone. The sequence of events is described rather briefly, but the crew had abandoned the ship in the evening, fully loaded. The next day, when they returned, the vessel had taken on water and was half-filled. There is little more documented about its misfortune.

Östanön itself features both fields and pastures, with a path that encircles the entire island. One can reach the stone jetty located on the island’s western side.
