ReportA rock at 1.5m that lies along a beach lacking references, it’s easy to believe that the shoal is closer to land than it actually is (the nautical chart is probably correct though). Furthermore, the water is very busy with recreational boats.
A cardinal mark similar to the one on the NW side of the island could probably have prevented some groundings.
